2005-2007
- In 2005 Amentum Capital Limited is set up in Dublin, Ireland, as a joint venture between HSH Nordbank AG (60%) and DAL Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing GmbH & Co. KG (40%).
- During 2006 Amentum provides technical services to the growing aircraft finance department of HSH Nordbank and arranges the first aircraft leases for the bank. Remarketing activities are commenced with the successful placement of seven Dornier 328s.
- During 2007 Amentum grows to become a full service operating lessor following its appointment as investment advisor and lease manager to Global Aircraft Fund I (GAF I), a Luxembourg-based closed end fund investing US$ 1.1 billion in commercial aircraft.
